Attack on a Driver Should Be Considered a Public Crime!

January 23, 2023 VIOLENCE AGAINST DRIVERS DOESN'T END! We face new attacks every day. Most recently, our friend Ercan Aktaş, a member of the Private Bus Union, was attacked with stones and a cell phone near Ümraniye on the Anatolian side. He sustained injuries from the blows to his face. Despite all our appeals and warnings to the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM), IETT (Istanbul Electricity Transmission Corporation), cooperatives, and companies to take action, our fellow drivers continue to be subjected to violence! Attacks on drivers in public spaces are declared violence against public personnel, and investigations into these incidents are being closely monitored. DRIVERS, UNITE WITH KATAŞ-SEN TO END INSURRECTION AND STOP THE ATTACKS!
