We are human beings, too. Just as we grieve for our brother Halit Yukay, lost at sea, we grieve equally for our brother Mustafa Samira, who has been detained in Georgia for seven months. Turkey has risen to its feet for Halit Yukay. The national press, public institutions, and security forces have taken action.
So, what has been done for Mustafa Samira? For seven months, we have appealed everywhere. But not a single response has come from the national press, public institutions, or our consulate!
Mustafa Samira is a son of this country! He is also a driver! His life is precious! We will not remain silent against those who abandoned him, those who remained indifferent.
My fellow drivers!
We are drivers! We have dignity, too! We have rights! We have lives! We have honor. These rights can only be exercised if we stand together.
If we want our voices to be heard louder in painful and unjust situations like these, to be more effective and achieve results, it's time to unite!
