Virtual Action Today — If Our Voices Aren't Heard, More Will Come!
As international and intercity heavy-duty vehicle drivers from all over Turkey, hitting the roads, shouldering the burden, and driving day and night, we say enough is enough!
We demand solutions to our problems, which have been ignored for years!
OUR DEMANDS ARE CLEAR:
📣 An end to social security premiums paid from the minimum wage!
Salaries should be evaluated based on real wages, and our insurance policies should reflect real wages.
• ⏳ We don't want to wait hours at customs and in X-ray queues!
We want a working environment worthy of human dignity.
• ⚰️ We don't want to die in cabins!
Rest areas must be safe, comfortable, and supervised.
• 🚫 We don't want a penalty point system!
Every punishment has become an extrajudicial execution; we demand a fair oversight system.
• 🟩 We don't want a green seal!
We want unnecessary bureaucracy to be eliminated and our work to be made easier.
• 🌍 We want a passport that doesn't require a visa!
An international driver is like an ambassador to Turkey—the path must be clear!
• ⚖️ We don't want labor courts that take years!
Justice must be served in a timely manner, not years later.
• 🛡️ We want job security!
Let there be justice in layoffs, not arbitrariness.
• 💰 We demand adequate wages for our profession!
We demand European-standard salaries, fuel support, and travel allowances.
• 🅿️ We demand safe parking spaces!
Our vehicles and our lives must be safe.
• 🚻 We demand clean toilets and bathrooms!
Drivers are human, not robots! Our basic human needs must be met.
• 🙏 We demand respect!
We are the drivers of this country's economy. We expect respect for our labor!
FINAL WORD:
Today we are a virtual protest, tomorrow we will be the voice of the highways.
We are resolute in our demands.
If our voices are not heard, these protests will be carried to the field.
If we stand still, the world will stand still.
