Our friend Hakan Tosun, who was seriously injured in a vile attack that has not yet been resolved, has suffered brain death. We are saddened and outraged. He has always stood with the working class and the oppressed. He stood against environmental and ecological destruction. He has made history with his news reports and documentaries. He stayed in our union's solidarity tents in Hatay during the earthquake. While doing his job, he also delivered aid supplies from home and abroad to the earthquake victims of Hatay.
